Visitors find San Martino della Vaneza Castle a charming discovery, especially when it hosts events like festivals and ceramic exhibits. The friendly cafe and scenic location on walking paths are highlights. While not a grand fortress, its historical ambiance and community feel make it a worthwhile stop.
"Happened across this Castello while on the path between Vicenza and Padova. Nothing better than a hundreds of years old castle in the middle of the Italian countryside with an open cafe! We were able to get a reasonable espresso and a small spuntino before heading back on our way. The barista was friendly and kind in being accepting of our bad Italian. If the place is open, make a stop. The rotary phone was an interesting piece of older technology in the building. The only regret I have is not climbing to the top of the walls!"

"Went to visit the Castle as a member of “Veneto Segreto”. I didn’t expect to find the pottery and ceramics exhibits, found locally.
We also had a very good guide."
