Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Torre Argentina Cat Sanctuary for its heartwarming mission and the joy of interacting with numerous friendly cats amidst ancient Roman ruins. The passionate volunteers are frequently highlighted for their dedication. While the entrance can be a bit hidden, the experience is overwhelmingly positive and considered a must-visit for animal lovers seeking a break from the city's hustle.

"Very passionate and lovely people here, rescuing these kitties and nursing them back to health.. We very much enjoyed our visit and is so great to see that people are looking out for these little ones in such a big and busy place. The entrance is a little hidden but once you find it and make your way down, you won’t be disappointed. Tons of appreciative little cats down there and even a room to hangout and pet the friendliest ones. A must see for a nice break from all the hustle and bustle."

"An absolutely beautiful place to visit and support, the cats are clearly loved and looked after the best that they can. The two ladies that were here were very friendly and kind during our time and talked to us often. I've seen many reviews saying the ladies here are unpleasant but I cannot believe it, they will simply ask for you not to text when you are seeing the cats. This isn't unreasonable at all, enjoy the beautiful friends and not your screens.
We made sure to buy as much as we could to help them continue to support the little friends they look after.
Minareto is the cutest little friend in here, but all of the cats are so friendly and seek your affections. Really a wonderful to visit."

Mitchell Smith

"A lovely little visit. The cats are sweet and clearly well looked after, there is a shop so you can buy something to support the organisation who sterilise hundreds of cats a year! We got a souvenir from there (handmade cat toys) for our cat which she loves."
