What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the excellent value offered by the combined ticket for Galleria Corsini and Palazzo Barberini, highlighting the impressive art collections. The location in charming Trastevere is also a significant plus, allowing for further exploration. Some note that advance booking is crucial for special exhibitions at Palazzo Barberini.
"A gallery in Trastevere for which your ticket allows access to the Barbarini gallery. The palazzo Corsini itself is impressive and houses a lot of high quality art and sculpture. Currently a few of its more well known pieces such as a Carravagio, are loaned out to exhibitions around the world. Information on each art work is present, but not next to the work itself and it does, to be honest, detract from the experience a little as one has to keep going back and forth to the info stand. However, despite this, it's still well worth popping in."

"This is a very nice museum, with a very unique design and architecture. There are plenty of great works of art to see, there are lots of nice, statues, paintings and artifacts. The collection is very well preserved and displayed. The grounds are very well kept and maintained, there’s lots to see and do in and around this area. I really enjoyed my time here and I would definitely recommend checking it out."

"Not very big. Not well organized. Take a while to figure out what is what. Inscriptions are on the panels somewhere in the room and not next to the painting.
Entrance with a booking was a mess, had to wait for half an hour in spite of having a time slot.
They do have a reasonable website that discusses the history and the masterpieces.
If you're in the neighborhood - go, otherwise not worth a detour."
