"A beautiful view after climbing about 1000 steps. Bring some food an enjoy it sitting on the benches+ enjoy the view.
Hiked up the steps and down through the hole on the other side, going down that way you should be surefooted and not afraid of hights. Overall a beautiful hike, away from the tourist masses, not recommended to go with small kids"

"MUST VISIT if in Positano! Absolutely stunning. I'm not sure what all these other people in the comments are on about, it was about a 20 min climb up some stairs from way of Montepertuso. We went at night, at about 21:00 and it was a once and a lifetime view for the travels and a once in a lifetime photoshoot for the influencers. In my opinion I would say make this a priority when traveling the Amalfi coast."

"We walked from positano beach and holy cow what a hike this was. Lots of stairs the whole way, the path is clearly labeled with signs from the town of positano. It is 2.5 miles round trip with about 1800 ft of elevation. It is real world stair master. The peak was well worth it with an amazing view. Would recommend in the morning, we left about 830 and were back by 1015.
If we were to do it again we would bring a snack to enjoy at the top and maybe even venture to the path of the gods which is about 40 minute walk from montepertuso."
