Do not expect fancy, new stuff, this is an old building with its own charm and quite rustic, nevertheless the bathrooms are fully equipped and spotless. Did I mention how clean it was? Very clean.
Did the booking on a whim as the place I was recommended did not have available rooms, and boy am I glad they didn't because I managed to find a gem of a place, on top of a hill, next to a Duke's castle from medieval times with breathtaking views of the beautiful area around it. Poppi is indeed a gem and this place, the service, the food the views make it an absolute steal. Try the food, the house wine go all in. It passes the vibe check and I do intend to bring my family on a vacation here.
Also it's up on the hill so expect to have to do a bit of walking, it is worth spending the calories. Also they speak English, pay by card and try the food."
