What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Piana degli Ulivi Secolari for its stunning natural beauty and the awe-inspiring presence of ancient olive trees, often highlighting the picturesque views towards Ostuni. However, several reviews point to significant issues with breakfast quality and room cleanliness at some accommodations, suggesting a need for improvement in hospitality standards despite the prime location.
"Very nice place with a great view of the old city. The owners are kind but their English is a bit rough, nevertheless we enjoyed our stay."
Paul Stefan Berbec
"Superbly located B&B, within walking distance of Ostuni. Superb garden (with lots of olive and fruit trees) with a beautiful pool and a view of Ostuni. The owners are friendly and the breakfast staff are very nice if you speak Italian and enjoy talking to everyone :)
On the other hand, the breakfast was DISASTROUS, consisting of industrial cakes and biscuits and sliced bread. No fruit, jam, or chocolate from industrial bags. We brought our own bread, fruit, and jam from the city.
It was very difficult to eat on the terrace because it was attacked by wasps.
The "passable" room was not very clean (disgusting under the bed). There were no shelves in the bathroom, and you waited for everything in the hallway shared with the other room. The toilet brush was filthy and dirty from the previous one.
Holes in the sheets.
TV (didn't try it, but other guests said it didn't work)
and fridge were useful.
Could be much better with a better breakfast, cleaner room and storage in the bathroom :)"

"Excellent option for those wanting to visit Ostuni. Really close by. The B&B offers spectacular views of Ostuni.
The room was spacious and clean, very simple but with everything you need.
The pool wasn't used, but it was a lovely place to relax surrounded by olive trees.
Breakfast was a total disappointment. All the products were packaged and of very poor quality, something to reconsider because it's a shame considering the location!
Cinzia, the owner, was really nice and kind.
If you don't have high expectations, it's a truly excellent option."
