"Do yourself a favor and make a point to stop in at Le Fonti when you're in the region.
We stopped in unannounced and without reservation for a tasting and yet were greeted warmly and quickly.
We had rather randomly had a very nice bottle of Le Fonti wine (2021 Chianti Classico Reserva) at a nearby restaurant the prior night and then made a point of looking them up online and dropping in. We were not disappointed. The 5 wines we tasted were all wonderful and and the views from our vantage point were spectacular.
Even more to the point, the woman giving us the tasting took her time and was very thorough in her explanations of the wines and of the estate. A 5 star experience for us."
