What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Sanctuary of Saint Leopold Mandić to be a peaceful and spiritual place, particularly for those of faith, with the tomb and confessional cell being highlights. Some note it may not resonate as strongly with those not of the faith, describing it as modern rather than historically rich. The free entry and the unexpected Museum of Africa are also frequently mentioned positive aspects.
"I fully respect that it's a place for those that follow the faith. If you don't, I don't think it's gonna give you anything. You're probably supposed to feel the spirituality and worship the saint, however for me the place lacked any sense. It's a totally "modern" (not extremely, just in the way that you won't see much history here), and a bit bizzare for me. But nothing against that, it's just not meant for people like me. Free entry."
