What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Rocca di Mondavio for its well-preserved medieval architecture and spectacular panoramic views. Many find it a charming and worthwhile stop, particularly appreciating its historical significance and the beauty of the surrounding village. While some note it's a relatively short visit, the experience is generally described as enjoyable and picturesque.
"Typical of the area, a fortified town with a castle on top of a hill. Many like this in the area, built as a defensive base hard to attack. This one is well preserved and the castle itself is open some days. The views from the castle are spectacular, and you then understand why it was built here. The small town is well kept with the typical small narrow streets. We enjoyed the visit"
