"Interesting historical site dating back to the Roman empire or possibly before. There is a church there with a mural made of marble in layers in a very unique way. From the top it also has amazing views; since the place is located in a very narrow peninsula you can see the sea bordering from both sides."
Rodrigo Hernandez-Gutierrez
"Great visit! The climb to the castle was actually easy though it looks high from the esplanade. The complex is huge but very easy to walk around and offers great views especially to Vulcano and Lipari Islands. There is stairs in most of the buildings but outdoors is paths. There are a number of nice restaurants directly outside. We spent approximately 2 hours just wandering around."

"Great views and amazing ruins to explore.
There was an exhibition on music lead by a local man who was extremely talented and one of the highlights of our 11 days exploring Sicily."
