Located within Milan's architectural masterpiece, Palazzo Lombardia, this futuristic 4,000 sq m oval plaza is sheltered by a breathtaking 32-meter-high ETFE roof, making it a must-see for modern design lovers and a vibrant hub for events."

"waited almost 2 hours to go the top observation deck. however, was pretty disappointed at the views at the top as the sun was setting and the lights in the building were still on. Therefore, this created a lack of visibility due to harsh glare. The line management and efficiency was also poor. If ur coming for pictures make sure to come when it’s bright out. Would only recommend if the line is short and you have nothing better to do."
Meggie
"Beautiful government building, built like a rounded ship. The internal court has this magical light and rounded shapes, the sounds have a different timbre. On certain Sundays you can go up too the to floor and see Milan from way up. A very beautiful part of Milan."

The Belvedere Experience: Milan from Above
Access to the Belvedere is a significant draw, especially since it's free of charge. However, this popularity means that entry is strictly managed. Visitors must book their visit online in advance, as walk-ins are rarely accommodated. The available dates and times are often limited, particularly during peak seasons or special events, so planning ahead is essential to secure a spot.
While the views are spectacular, Redditors and visitors have noted that the timing of your visit can impact the photographic quality. Sunset can be visually dramatic but may lead to glare from building lights and the setting sun, making it challenging to capture clear photos. For the best photographic results, visiting during clear daylight hours is often recommended.
