Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale Milan for its impressive collections, especially the dinosaur skeletons and mineral displays. It's considered a great educational experience for families and science enthusiasts. Some find the exhibits a bit dated, but the sheer volume of specimens is a significant draw.

"Very interesting museum, rich collection of stones from all over the world. The first floor is more interesting than the ground floor. They paid a lot of attention to detail with the setting up of all the animal scenes. Wish more signs were in English. The staff was so so helpful and kind. My kids loved it, and I did as well."

Elena Kalli

"The best museum of natural history that I’ve ever visited! We were going to see dinosaurs but we ended up being fascinated by the things we wouldn’t expect to astonish us, such as: stones (amazing collection!) and the second floor with mummified animals from all around the world. This collection of the mummified animals was 10 out of 10! I was shocked by the quality of scenes made with animals - they looked like they are alive! You could even see their “emotions”. If you have kids and you want to show them wild animals - it’s better if you bring them to this museum than to the zoo! Exceptional museum for such a low price of the ticket! And there were so many things to see - I can only imagine how many people worked in order to create and maintain all these collections. Amazing!"

Anastasiia Storozhko

"One of the best natural history museums I've ever visited. At just 5 euros per adult, it's still a very affordable price compared with other museums.

Still, the museum is very spacious, with a wide range of exhibits, from geology to realistic scenes of animals in their natural environment, to the point where you'd think you are in a zoo lol.

There's also an interesting room featuring dinosaur skeletons, which is truly remarkable, as well as the fossil collection.

The building was almost empty when I visited, which made it all the more special!"
