"AN ABSOLUTE MUST DO! We booked via GetYourGuide as an activity to do in Milan, baring in mind this is the first time we've ever booked a cooking class, and it was amazing fun.
My partner and I were part of a group of up to 18 people with our chef, Alfredo, who was super knowledgeable, relatable and overall great fun and great energy to be around.
We made a pasta dough to cover tagliatelle and ravioli whilst Alfredo covered the pasta sauces and gelato, and was a great host.
3 hours for this absolutely flew by - plenty to do, absorb and just take in whilst having a few drinks - i highly recommend and its a great activity for those who are as a couple, a solo traveller or as friends or a family - it genuinely suits all and caters to all cooking levels!"

Choosing Your Culinary Experience
When selecting a class, consider what you want to learn. Are you eager to master the art of fresh pasta dough from scratch, or are you more interested in the perfect pizza stretch? Do you dream of creating your own creamy gelato flavors? Look for classes that align with your culinary aspirations. Reviews often highlight chefs like Alfredo, Fabrizio, and Matteo for their engaging teaching styles and delicious results.
It's also worth noting the class size. Smaller groups, sometimes even private sessions, can offer more personalized attention and a more intimate atmosphere. Always check the duration of the class, typically around 3 hours, and ensure it fits comfortably into your Milan itinerary.

Many classes also incorporate a social element, often including wine or other beverages to complement the cooking and dining experience. This creates a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, making the class feel more like cooking with friends than a formal lesson. The satisfaction of creating and then savoring your own delicious Italian meal is a highlight for many participants.
