Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Chiesa di San Marco as a peaceful, often overlooked gem in Milan, offering a beautiful baroque interior with impressive art and a rich history, including its connection to Verdi. Its free entry and less crowded atmosphere make it a welcome respite from the city's busier attractions.

"This was the second church I visited while staying in Brera. There is a lighter feeling here, with white vaulted ceiling, columns and walls. It a church you'd want to get married in as there is a more festive feeling than Parrocchia San Simpliciano. I would be hard pressed to pick one over the other. Both, in my mind, serve a purpose, San Simpliniano a more pensive and solemn church you may go for reflection and here, San Marco, you visit to celebrate you faith. Just a thought."

John Ventre

"Large quiet church with interesting art. I especially like the interesting lighting on some of the spaces and the use of Braille signage. The piazza outside is also quite nice."

Ahmed Sabeck

"Hola, I'm not sure if I stumbled upon this church on my way. Perhaps it called me to visit. Thank you, Saint Mark, for this precious gift. Saludos a todos."
