"This a beautiful place and on this Thursday after in November I had it all to myself. The glow of the low afternoon sun added to its beauty.
Having studied archaeology I found this place intriguing as it gave me an idea of the advanced city planning of the Etruscans with streets, canalisation and areas reserved for certain purposes(necropolis, acropolis, city gates etc). The excavation site is rather large and it took me a while to walk around and take it all in. The exhibition at the museum was adding to the insight into the Etruscan culture.
I found the staff at the ticket counter very knowledgeable and cheerful."
