We were there at the weekend and got a pitch.
There is a bar/restaurant above the small beach where we had coffee, ice cream and drinks. And best of all, you can sit in the shade.

Navigating Parking and Access
Unlike many other beaches, Spiaggia di Madonna delle Grazie does not require an entrance fee or tickets. However, it's important to be aware of the natural conditions. The seabed is composed of stones and reef-like rocks, making it essential to wear bathing shoes for comfort and safety while swimming or exploring the underwater environment.
Public transport is not a viable option for reaching this beach, as there are no bus routes that service it directly. This reinforces the need for personal transport or a scooter. The beach is a well-protected bay, offering a serene experience once you've navigated the access challenges.
Underwater Wonders and Beach Comfort
While the natural beauty is undeniable, comfort on the beach requires a little preparation. There is a noticeable lack of natural shade, leading to advice to bring your own umbrellas. This ensures you can enjoy your time without being directly exposed to the sun for extended periods. The beach itself is small, but often not overcrowded, providing enough space for visitors, especially outside of peak hours.
Safety is also considered, with a marked line indicating an area where swimming is restricted due to boat traffic. This ensures a safe zone for beachgoers. The restaurant overlooking the bay offers a convenient spot for refreshments, though it's important to note that food service typically ends around 2 PM.
The Charm of Capoliveri's Coastal Gem
The name 'Madonna delle Grazie' hints at a spiritual connection, and the church overlooking the bay adds to the scenic and cultural appeal of the area. While the beach is small, its appeal lies in its clear waters and the opportunity for underwater exploration. It's a place where visitors can enjoy the simple pleasures of the sea and the stunning Tuscan landscape.
