"Wow, just a stunning beach! Clearer than tap water, soft sand and not super crowded when I was there, first Friday of Sept. Lots of people but room to breathe and enjoy the water. I think chairs are cheaper if set up outside the roped-off area. $6 per chair and umbrella. Also plenty of room to take your own. Got there by city bus 9320 or 9321-- note that you can get tickets at newsstands but the guy selling them near the stop I went to gave everyone local bus tickets, which aren't valid for this trip. You can buy the ticket on the bus and apparently online- there was a qr code at the stop."
