"(Summer visit)
There are several carparks to accommodate visitors of the Calaita lake. Once you are parked up can walk up the lake and enjoy the view or go for a trek. There is an easy circular walk too. I would recommend get to the very end (where the benches are) and enjoy the breathtaking views before you return to the carpark. It’s absolutely stunning! The environment was very clean too, sign that visitors are respectful with taking home their trash.
Perfect place for a picnic- or a meal at the local restaurant (I reviewed that too). Temperature in July/August was 19 degrees so absolutely perfect!
Note: There are cows in the field 🐄 so keep your doggies on the leash."
