What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Lago di Braies for its breathtaking natural beauty, with the turquoise waters and surrounding mountains creating a truly magical atmosphere. The boathouse and rowboat experiences are highlights for many. However, some travelers report issues with overcrowding, rude staff, and unexpected closures for private events, which can detract from the experience.
"Super fun experience! Did the bike + row package with my fiancée and it was a perfect day trip. We started out with high quality e-bikes about a hr bike away from the lake. It was very uphill for the beginner trail but the e-bike makes it a breeze! Then for the tow boat, you get to skip the entire line! It was very convenient since it went from a 1hr+ wait to "

"The lake is beautiful. The mountains are beautiful.
But coming here requires traveling, planning, reserving special parking and checking Palafittas official website for their operating hours.
Then you get to the boathouse even one hour earlier than the closing time, just to find out that they completely closed the dock (without prior notice on their website) for a private photo shooting. On top of that, their staff were very rude. Photo shootings should NOT be arranged during their public operating hours because they affect dozens of travelers that have made substantial arrangements just to get there."

"Amazing rental boats place. Came here by 9:30 Monday and absolutely no waiting time. The boat ride is of course very interesting and the price, albeit a little high, worth it all"
