What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Museo del Sigillo to be a unique and fascinating collection, particularly for those interested in seals and iconography. While the low ticket price is a plus, many note the significant lack of English explanations and occasional confusion with ticketing and staff. Despite these drawbacks, the sheer diversity and historical depth of the seal collection are highly appreciated.
"This museum was very confusing to me and my friend, but we still maintained basic courtesy. First of all, we saw that you can buy student tickets at the door, but the staff said that they can only be purchased by students at the University of La Spezia, and not for students studying elsewhere in Italy. But the funny thing is that we saw the written on the student ID card displayed that's an international...and even though we paid money(The price written on the official website is 3.5 euros per person for a full ticket, but he told us that it is 4 euros.), we were not given any kind of tickets in the end...The most irritating thing was that there was a woman following us at all times while we were walking around the museum for more than an hour. Behind us, whether we walked to another room or went downstairs, it was strange that there were still many people in the museum...."
