"Nice, historical area. Great place for a break on a hike. No uludag"
Christoph Gaida
"After a short walk in a beautiful chestnut grove starting from Marciana you arrive at the Romitorio, the oldest place of worship on the island. Immersed in the woods it is possible to take a break, as the area is equipped with picnic tables. It's a shame, however, that it cannot be visited inside.
Shortly after the hermitage there is a crossroads. On the right, continue along path n. 101 and reach Monte Capanne, while on the left, on the farm road, you reach the famous Napoleon source."
Giusy Fittante
"It's a short walk from Marciana. The current appearance of the church and the surrounding woods is a bit depressing: poorly maintained, dusty, rocky, and dead branches everywhere. There are picnic tables, but no water."
