"Stunning Borgo, and charm castle, the view from the Tower are the best sight of the Apennines Modenese. Pity the Caste hasn't been restored as has marvelous features and same wonderful Pineta next to it. As venue could be the perfect place. We had the guided tour for €3 was good to know a bit of the history of the castle. The beautiful Cortile is used for events."

There are many little things to see in this castle, remodeled several times according to the events of Guiglia and the Montecuccoli family. The castle, the spa, the casino, the dance hall... all explained by the young and talented guide. Only a portion is open to the public, but there's something to see from every historical and functional period... the defensive tower with a panoramic view of the Po Valley (the Euganean Hills could be glimpsed), the prisons (or rather, the gates), the hotel rooms, the gambling tables, the reconstruction of the noble bedroom, the records of the casino/club for unofficial couples, the Borlengo museum, whose origins are explained. Some dark rooms with chilling photos.
Worth seeing. There were seven of us on the guided tour, so we moved quickly. The tower has a somewhat steep final passage due to the last stretch of stairs. Parking is easy nearby (I imagine the festival hall). Reservations are recommended; payment on site is only possible by POS, no cash."
