"Had a wonderful tour here .We walked from where we were staying in frascati which took about an hour somewhere of the roads are a bit busy on the way so we had to be careful but a lot of the journey was quiet and the views were stunning. When we arrived for our 11.30 slot we were the only people there so we had our own private tour with a lovely very knowledgeable volunteer .The walk through was fascinating and.the 4 of us that visited agreed it was one of the highlights of our trip .They gladly accept a donation at the end of the tour to help towards maintaining this amazing piece of history .If you're close by on the first Sunday of the month I highly recommend this .It was also a.nice break from the chaos of Rome .;) ."

"An educational and humbling experience. The catacombs are where early Christians are buried, spanning from 200 to around 400AD. During the early part of its existence Christianity was illegal, until the Edict of Milan from Constantine in 313AD. The guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was over an hour long. She explained the development of the catacombs and the symbology and art that was on view. It was a memorable experience."
