What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Giulianova Lido is widely praised for its beautiful, expansive beaches and excellent value, particularly for fresh seafood. While many enjoy the friendly staff and delicious food, some visitors have encountered issues with beach service reservations and found certain dishes to be disappointing or overpriced. Despite minor drawbacks, the overall sentiment is positive, highlighting the town's appeal for a relaxing seaside getaway.
"We have had lunch at this place already 2 times and if we had stayed longer in Giulianova we would have gone there other times, because the prices are excellent, the fish is very fresh and all the staff is kind.
The coffee is also good!
Very good dishes and served at the tables of the lido"
Mario Chianese
"Went for lunch after the sea, not satisfied with the menu with poor dishes and frozen fish. Starter Salad of sea food at 9€ (2 spoons + 1 bruschetta tomato and anchovy) at this point you could have added a piece of salmon and it would have been a triptych. Other starters like roasted squid with prawns and courgettes (poor but good). The fried calamari at 14 euros was sufficient (without having seen at least 1 ring of calamari), the staff is polite at least that's what we still went back for, but in the food we are not there. The first courses are normal without a blemish. Too bad for the rest"
Alberto Caterini
"Terrible experience.
I had a reservation for an umbrella and two sunbeds for Sunday, once we arrived at the beach it was magically discovered that my reservation was not recorded and that there were no sunbeds available. Then I was advised to go to the beach next door which had the same prices and to mention their name so as to have the same treatment.. and magically it was discovered that the rates were not the same but higher..
Thank you for the hospitality and the treatment you reserved for us, for sure.. WE WILL NOT RETURN!!!"
