"Staff are absolutely fantastic. Polite and friendly. Hotel lives up to it's grand title and then some even though it shows signs of it's age. Clean and tidy. Biggest discrepancy is the price gouging at the bar. 15 euros for a tequila and lemonade or 9 euros a pint is almost unacceptable for me when the cafes and restaurants just down the street are half the price. Still an excellent stay and one of my all time favourite places."

"This is our favorite hotel at Lake Garda. We come here for 15 years now. The hotel is in need of renovation but the room we have is updated and clean. The breakfast is splendid and we love love the location. All the staff of the early days are gone, but the staff that is there now is very helpfull. We hope when they renovate it it will keep its charm. It is very much home to us."
