"Wow"

Gessica Bilenchi

"Although smaller than it was centuries ago, at 1,800 hectares, it is the largest inland marshland in Italy, of considerable historical and environmental interest.
The marsh is full of water during rainy periods, but almost dry during light rainfall (generally in summer).
Numerous plant and animal species live here, and there are three wildlife observatories.
There is also an extensive network of trails, and by contacting the local associations, it is possible to explore it by boat."

Giuseppe Marzulli

"Even in warmer temperatures, it's a pleasant place to stroll, mostly in the shade. With a bit of luck, you'll see herons, rabbits, kites, and, like us, even turtles."
