"Very nice botanical garden between Courmayeur Italy and Chamonix France. This is the highest altitude botanical garden in Europe and requires a chairlift from the Italian side. It features the plants that can be found in the alps and the signage explains how it shares many of the species and plant varieties with other high altitude environments around the globe. I leaned quite a bit about the flora and vegetation and how the rock here supports the plants and allows them to thrive. It is one of the smaller gardens I have visited around the world but very interesting and worth the trip!!!"

The path around the garden is nice and scenic with lots of corners with a beautiful view to take photos. Come and visit around lunch time during summer when the light is beautiful for taking photos."
