"What a wonderful find in Colico! We didn't really know about this fort until we got to Colico, but I'm so glad we decided to visit it. Our guide Luke was wonderful, truly enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and very friendly and charming. Apparently we were the only ones visiting the fort that day, so full marks to him for doing such a brilliant job of the tour when we were the last and only tour of the day. I know this is highly rated here, but I still think it's not very well known and it should be! The working canon is amazing, the entire site is very well maintained, and the signs are in Italian, English and German. Luke spoke fluent English and made the whole experience very interesting. Highly recommended!"
