We stopped by on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 2:30 PM, thinking it would also be open in the afternoon, but it only opens until 1:00 PM from Tuesday to Friday. What a shame! We found some information online and wanted to publish it anyway. The Palazzo Pistilli Museum is located in the heart of Campobasso's historic center. Its halls display works from the art collection that Michele Praitano built over more than fifty years of research in Italy and abroad, and donated to the State in 2014. Naples was the historical, artistic, and market context most explored by Praitano. The works are in dialogue with those from the Giovanni Eliseo collection, donated by his son Massimo to the State on December 14, 2012, and the Giuseppe and Ottavio Eliseo collection, acquired by the Province of Campobasso.

"As a non-art gallery fan, I must admit the incredible preparation of the staff, I felt involved and appreciated what I usually... don't like, they showed us everything as if they were at home, giving an incredible sense of hospitality (unusual for a sterile place like a museum, an art gallery). Places like this, what we saw and the ways in which we were welcomed - followed - informed, make me proud to be Italian, proud to have so many "beautiful things" to see and show to the world, in the multimedia room we were accompanied and they had the wonderful foresight to turn off everything around us creating a cinematic atmosphere, we stayed well beyond the average visit time enjoying all the aspects and opportunities that were offered to us, thanks again to the people who work at the palace"
