Visitors appreciate its transformation into a multi-use space with an observatory and event potential. "A wonderful panoramic spot. It's a shame there are no explanatory signs reminding you that it's a public facility or explaining the site's history and architecture. There's also a small astronomical observatory, but there are no specific opening hours."

"Main stream location, welcome to one of the 13 Umbertine fortifications desired by post-one Italy to demonstrate its ability to defend the borders and the sea strait between Sicily and Calabria. Forte Petrazza located on the hills between Camaro and Gazzi is one of the numerous underground structures, now restored and repurposed. Not open to visitors, I had the pleasure of being invited by some friends who rented one of the rooms inside and I was able to enjoy some nice moments, including musical ones, in company. I leave you some shots, I believe that a lot still needs to be done to make it usable. In any case, the sharp management keeps it in fair condition and neglect and vandals are kept at a safe distance, so something has already been done. Fortunately, the fort is now alive among offices, common spaces, artisans and workers and its memory has not and will not be lost."
