What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Museo Mille Miglia for its impressive collection of vintage cars and its unique setting within a historic monastery. The displays are well-loved, and the museum offers a good glimpse into automotive history. Some visitors note that the museum can be quite small and gets very hot during warmer months.
"As I'm a car Enthusiast I really enjoyed my visit to Museo Mille Miglea. Highly recommend a great display of car history"
Paul Burke
"Museo Mille Miglia is worth the quick stop in Brescia on the train line from Desenzano (Lake Garda) to Milan. The Mille Miglia is a storied race that, although in a much different format, continues today in this region. The museum is set in an old convent and the building and the grounds are very pretty. The only reason for a slightly lowered rating is due to the museum being rather small-it ends a little abruptly, but it is also very very hot inside. The day I toured the museum it was 88f outside and had to be almost equal to that in certain parts inside the building. Other than those particulars the museum is a must-see if you are nearby."

"It’s clear a lot of love has gone into putting this collection together, and the condition of these truly vintage cars is remarkable. I also liked the glass floor examples of the road constructions through the decades."
