What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Bosco Nordio for its peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained trails, and affordable entry fee, making it a delightful escape into nature. The educational farm is a hit with families. However, the very limited opening hours and the strict siesta closure can be inconvenient for some planning their visit.
"The reserve is open from mid-March to mid-June and from mid-September till the end od October during Sundays and public holidays. It is closed during summer.
They close the gate during la siesta (13:00-15:00). You either leave before 13:00, or you have to stay in - enclosed - till they reopen in the afternoon."

"A beautiful forest; it's not huge, but it has several trails and is very well-maintained. It's only open on Sundays in spring and fall. Strolling along the various, well-marked trails is my weekly detox. It has a visitor center with a small café, restrooms, and outdoor dining areas. There are animals for the little ones in the educational farm area, but if you walk quietly along the marked trails in the forest, you might also encounter local wildlife. There's also a nature art trail. Admission is only €3, with discounts for children. A true oasis of peace."

"When you enter the gate it doesn't seem real... you find yourself in an oasis of peace, in close contact with nature. There are various routes that you can choose, or do them all, (some can also be done by bike), visit the area with the animals, beautiful for children, you can stop for a picnic on the tables in front of the visitor center..
I forgot... inside there are 2 large car parks."
