What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Lungotemo for its picturesque beauty, vibrant pastel houses, and the charming atmosphere of Bosa. The riverside walk is highlighted as a must-do, offering lovely views of the Temo River and Malaspina Castle. Some reviewers note that dining prices can be high, and the nearby beaches are not the main attraction.
"Like almost every river that flows through a small town, the river Temo also divides the town into two parts. Ok, the old part of the city is on one side, on the other is the settlement from more recent days. Since part of the hotels and larger accommodations are located on the left bank of the river, the visitor definitely meets the river. Anyway, the river allows navigation from the sea up to a certain depth into the interior of the island. A walk along the banks of the river offers visitors a picturesque view of the wonderful reflections of the surrounding buildings and parked vessels or boats. A nice walk along the edges of the river is really worth a visit."

"A beautiful place with great culture to visit, but the beaches around aren't exactly spectacular. The prices for eating there are so high, everyone has their own opinion... you almost like it..."
Piergiorgio Massa
"A very pleasant walk overlooking this charming coastal village, said to be the essence of Sardinia. A lovely place to stroll in the afternoon, watch the sunset, and stroll at night. The landscape is dominated by Malaspina Castle, built in 1112 (12th century) and has a history of some 900 years. A village with colorful houses in pastel shades, wrought-iron balconies, a multitude of flower pots, and narrow streets along the Temo River. The colors of the house facades are perfectly distinguishable and form a very photogenic mosaic.
Very old, it has earned the reputation of being one of the most beautiful villages in Italy:"
