What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Brenta Bike Path offers beautiful natural scenery along the Brenta River, making it a lovely spot for walks and cycles. However, visitors should be prepared for inconsistent maintenance, including a lack of trash bins and clear signage, which can sometimes lead to detours. The nearby town of Bassano del Grappa adds cultural and culinary appeal to the experience.
"About 9 km on the banks of the Brenta River.
The monastery is unique, next to the Alpine Association..."
Marco Furgada
"The beauty is given only by nature, the low rating is due to the lack of care of the route by the municipalities involved, Bassano and Solagna. The path is neglected, there are completely no waste bins, very few benches for a rest and the few are old and worn. There are no signs at all, and in some places you go off route because there isn't even a minimal arrow to give you direction. On the bridge in Solagna, going down to your right towards Bassano, you end up in the middle of half-closed warehouses...then with intuition you enter an open gate but with a prohibition sign and you find the path to return to Bassano. So, is it that difficult to make it a little more refined?"
