The interactive displays and helpful staff are frequently praised, though some note its small size. It's highly recommended as part of a visit to the surrounding historical sites, especially when utilizing the cost-effective combined ticket.
"Really interesting place to visit with interactive displays in several languages. Very helpful staff and lots of local history."

"It's only a very small museum consisting of two rooms but it's modern and the presentation and exhibits are very well presented and the staff very helpful. The exhibits and information centre around the local archaeology, particularly the Nurenghi and round off a visit to the local monuments nicely. If you buy the all inclusive ticket for all the monuments, entry to the museum is included and is highly recommended."

"The museum is small as it only has 4 rooms, but it's very well set up and has interactive videos that explain the local history and about the exhibits. Moreover if you are into minerals/crystals like me, it's definitely worth a visit as it has some absolutely stunning specimens of minerals from south Sardinia, like the geotite with lemonite which looks like a miniature enchanted forest, or the various calcites that almost look like alien planets!
Soon the museum will host some of the huge haul of Roman coins found in the nearby gulf of Cannigione which is the biggest find of this type in history.
If you want to know anything extra ask the very nice and knowledgeable staff at the museum.
I would definitely recommend it if you want to know more about the area."
