What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Borsalino Museum at Palazzo Borsalino for its unique collection and the historical significance of the hats displayed. The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into Italian craftsmanship and the legacy of an iconic brand. Some visitors noted that printed materials are primarily in Italian, and there can be some repetition in the information presented.
"Being in Alessandria you should definitely not miss this beautiful little museum devoted to the iconic hat brand Borsalino and opened in 2023. I visited a Thursday mid March of 2025 to see if I could find my own dark blue gangster Borsalino from the late 1960-s when young men were still wearing one of these masterpieces, often inherited from their fathers. And sure enough, I found it! The reception at the desk is very kind and you receive a brochure where you can learn everything about what you are seeing during your visit. There is a small museum shop. Unfortunately, all printed materials that you might find interesting to purchase is in Italian only."

"Great visit. The guide explained well everything to us with a presentation and then we had enough time to go around and check all the archive."
Design Eye Traveler
"Worthwhile but a lot of repetitive information."
