Reviews Summary

San Marco District in Venice is celebrated for its breathtaking historical architecture and vibrant atmosphere, though it's often noted for being extremely crowded. In Agropoli, San Marco Beach is praised for its soft sand and calm waters, but concerns about water quality and associated odors have been raised by visitors.

"At 6 AM to skip the hot sun, but with a nice freshly breeze from the sea fantastic to walk"

Andrea Pellis

"Lovely beach and soft sand, sea is shallow and calm. Wonderful. So nice not to have a stoney beach."

Marilyn Cappeillo

"I strongly feel that tourists should be aware that you cannot swim at any of the town beaches in Agropoli yet due to algae in the water. There is a terrible smell like rotten eggs in many parts of town.
I have not been to Trentova. The Lido Azzurro is closed as it was this time last year when we booked accomodation due to it's proximity to it but then had to go to Trentova. The public part of San Marco beach has not been cleared of debris yet and it looks awful with everything the tide has washed in. Further up on the private parts of the beach work is ongoing."
