Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning scenery and the emotional depth of the Via Francigena, particularly the journey towards Civita di Bagnoregio. While the beauty and spirit of the pilgrimage are consistently praised, some reviews point to organizational issues with events, specifically a lack of restrooms and inconsistent refreshment points. Despite these drawbacks, many express a desire to repeat the experience.

"5 stars for the stunning scenery and the emotions we experienced. 5 stars for the tireless civil defense workers, even if some weren't exactly kind—one in particular, but 5 stars for those who volunteered with such passion! 1 star for the lack of restrooms; I and others had to make do along the way. A shameful lack of organization! 2 stars for the so-so refreshment points. Not a single bench, except a few, you had to sit for at least 5 minutes. Sunday was hellish! I'll definitely repeat this experience because the memory is still wonderful!"

"A beautiful walk on a sunny day through stunning scenery! The arrival in Civita di Bagnoregio was spectacular, despite the steep climb up the bridge!"

chiara tosi

"Very well organized event and perfect assistance, one star less only because in my humble opinion a medal as a souvenir of the event after all this effort for the participants upon arrival instead of a phantom certificate that will arrive by email... it would seem very appropriate and exciting to me."
