What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bloomfield Stadium is praised for its modern design, excellent pitch views, and incredibly vibrant atmosphere, making it a top choice for football fans. However, visitors often point out issues with high food prices, inconsistent cleanliness in restrooms, and the lack of a roof, which can be a drawback in inclement weather. Despite these drawbacks, the passionate crowd and immersive experience often lead to a desire to return.
"Nice stadium in south Tel Aviv.
We sat in the stands behind the goal diagonal (333). In my eyes you can see just fine. There is also a net there to prevent flying balls.. It doesn't bother you if you think about it. :)
In the vicinity of the stadium there are several places where you can buy food. In addition to the stadium itself, only that their prices are high."

"I was in attendance at Hapoel Tel Aviv v Maccabi Netanya on Sunday, my first visit to The Bloomfield Stadium.
Outside the stadium, the queues were very big and it was very frustrating as there were no stewards by the turnstiles to help those fans who were struggling to get through having had problems with their tickets not being scanned.
I was amazed with the architecture and size of a very modern looking stadium. The atmosphere was outstanding from both sets of fans, predominantly Hapoel Tel Aviv who sung their hearts out for the entire 90 minutes. A very deserved win for the home side who took their chances to secure the 2-0 win, and defended their advantage in the second half.
Besides from the stadium visit and match being enjoyable, unfortunately I was also disappointed with how dirty the toilets were, the queues for refreshments being out of control at half-time and how people were smoking inside the stadium.
Nonetheless, I would definitely return to Bloomfield upon future trips to Israel. Regardless if I was dissatisfied with a few things."

Understanding Bloomfield Stadium's Accessibility
Once you arrive, navigating the entrances is generally smooth due to multiple gates. However, the stadium itself requires climbing two stories to reach the stands. While the seating is modern with good spacing, there is no roof, meaning attendees are exposed to the elements, a point of contention for some visitors who feel more investment should have been made in covering the stands.
Inside, while there are numerous toilets, their condition and ventilation can be inconsistent. Drinking water taps are available, which is a plus. The overall experience is heavily influenced by the stadium's location and the logistical challenges associated with match-day access.
The Matchday Atmosphere at Bloomfield
This proximity to the action creates a palpable sense of being part of the event, making it a memorable experience for football enthusiasts. Even those who have minor complaints about other aspects of the stadium, such as cleanliness or food prices, often highlight the atmosphere as a major draw and a reason they would return.
The visual spectacle of the modern stadium combined with the auditory immersion of the crowd's support creates a unique and vibrant environment that defines the Bloomfield Stadium experience. It's this raw, passionate energy that truly sets it apart.
Food and Drink Experience
A notable positive aspect mentioned by reviewers is that the food area is ventilated, which helps mitigate the issue of smoke that can be prevalent in other stadium dining areas. This offers a more comfortable experience while grabbing a bite or a drink.
Despite the convenience of having food and drinks available on-site, many attendees opt to eat before or after the match due to the cost. It's also worth noting that specific dietary options like vegetarian or vegan choices might be limited, so checking with vendors on the day is advisable.
