Reviews Summary

Visitors often praise the Greek Orthodox Wedding Church of Cana for its serene atmosphere and its profound spiritual significance as the site of Jesus' first miracle. The beautiful iconography adds to the experience. However, some visitors have reported negative interactions with staff, citing rudeness and unwelcoming behavior, which detracts from the otherwise peaceful setting.

"The Greek Orthodox Church in Cana beautifully commemorates Jesus’ first miracle with its serene atmosphere and elegant iconography."

Danny the Digger , Private Tours in Israel

"Very rude Romanian nun at the entrance. Me and my mom were visiting at 5:30 PM on 25th September and she shouted: where are you going, it is closed, the schedule is written 100 times. No welcome, no hi, no nothing. She heard me saying 'that's a bad nun' to my mom and came back to me escorting me to the exit! What kind of people are running this church honestly? Very bad example wearing religious Christian clothes given by this person. I asked what is her name and she didn't want to say it, she grabbed my arm, escorting me to the exit. I think you should learn more from the Arabs and Jews on how to behave and make people feel welcomed. We came from hundreds on miles to visit this church, we didn't ask to open it especially for us, we just wanted to explore around and we were dressed appropriately. Shame on you..."
