"A very interactive, up to date, comprehensive science museum. Cute but some parts were a bit old and the explanation signs too long and difficult to understand for young kids (5-9 years old) and sometimes even for adults. The museum is very interesting , no so big and easy to access but if you are looking for a calm atmosphere where you can take your time and learn something, this is not the best place, babies , toddlers and children running around everywhere, out of control, mamas with strollers ,babies crying etc ,
If you go , don’t go during holidays or vacation or with older kids."
Alex Drukpa.
"Nice museum full of interactive and engaging experiments for kids of all ages. We visited it on the International Museum Day. There were plenty of parking. The staff were very nice and helpful. The museum has a nice outdoor area for eating and for kids to play. Good place to visit with kids."

Exploring the Interactive Exhibits
While many installations are modern and well-maintained, some reviews mention that a few older exhibits might show signs of wear or have lengthy explanations that can be challenging for younger children. Despite this, the sheer volume and variety of interactive elements ensure that there's always something new to discover and explore. The museum actively updates its offerings, so there's often a fresh experience even for returning visitors.

Tips for a Family Visit
However, it's worth noting that during peak times, such as holidays or weekends, the museum can become quite chaotic and noisy. Equally impactful, though in a vastly different way, is the 'Museum of Silence'. This exhibit is designed to be a profound and reflective experience, challenging visitors to consider their relationship with others and the world around them. It’s a powerful reminder of shared humanity and the importance of empathy, offering a stark contrast to the playful nature of the other exhibits.
These distinct experiences, 'Infinity' and the 'Museum of Silence', showcase the museum's diverse approach to science communication. They aim not only to educate but also to provoke thought and emotional engagement, making a visit to the Bloomfield Science Museum a multi-faceted and enriching experience.
