Some note the presence of dilapidated fencing and signage, as well as horse and cow dung on certain paths, which can detract from the experience.

"Made infamous for the owners dislike of public access, the peninsula is well worth a visit, even if it has been ruined by dilapidated fencing and signage."

Nick Toms

"A lovely place to take a walk, and also the possibility of seeing seals swimming and basking in the sun on the rocks.
Would recommend this walk around you will also see the old herring watch tower. Enjoy the scenery, and from certain area you may see the silhouette of the Drinking Dragon looking down towards the Sound."

Kelly “Kel87” Graham

"Lovely walks and amazing views. Every day there are wonderful vistas - summer and winter. Sometimes hear the seals calling. Great place for dogs - and most people pick up, so do so as well. Only ones who don't care are the folk who own the cows near the lighthouse - the place is like a minefield of cow dung, and I don't see why they don't pick up as well. Probably my nicest evening dog-walk place in Isle of Man."
