"The location is brilliant and the hotel is modern. The rooms are clean and bed linen is nice, showers are lovely and it feels secure. Unfortunately that’s where the positives end.
The staff were distant or rude, or in most cases just didn’t even engage. The hotel was like a sauna - we don’t know if it’s the design, the fact rooms are beside AC units and over the bar or what, but it’s uncomfortable being inside them even when outside is cool.
The continental breakfast was one of the worst efforts we’ve ever seen - the spread was a few apples, one croissant, a few slices of white sliced pan, two individual packets of corn flakes and some plastic looking ham and cheese. Nobody even spoke to us to offer a table, tea or coffee, explain what else might be available etc. and we were well within the two hour breakfast window.
The TVs have loads of channels but most don’t show anything. The lift is slow and you can’t take the stairs so just have to wait.
Overall it’s a fine room but not worth the price - pay for a proper hotel and get pod hotel level quality."

Super handy location for shopping and access to public transport. One thing I will say is for our most recent trip on a Saturday the noise from the nightclub was very loud as our room was directly above it. Didn't affect us as we were using the club ourselves but ear plugs were provided."

Bathroom is new but there were still some hairs from another person in the shower, so there is still room for improvement.
The bar downstairs is very nice and location is perfect.
