Visitors consistently highlight the friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere of the clubhouse. While some find the green fees a bit steep, the overall experience is considered a must-play for golfers visiting the region.
"The first six holes are very typical parkland layout, many trees but not too dense, a little bit up and down. Holes 7 through to a very strong 18th finish are very much more interesting, and given the wonderful views of clew bay from 12 through to 16, DEFINATELY a course worth visiting ( or a revisit in my case)Course was in really good condition, the rough although not long, was pretty thick and took a good shot to get out of, very friendly welcome. Locker room was a little dated but perfectly functional."
