"Beautiful resort with excellent rooms and dining. Stayed via Amex FHR on the first and last night of our trip to Ireland. Dining credit covered a delicious dinner, once at the South and once at the Palmer. Breakfast was plentiful, with a nice buffet and ala carte items included. Staff were great but the grounds are the star of this place. Green, lush and very well kept."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. The food was excellent and the rooms comfortable. I was a little surprised, however, that for a 5 star hotel, we were lacking for a properly serviced room. I always check my amenities when I first get into the room so there are no surprises later. It's a good thing because of the 5 bottles of product in the room, 4 were empty! I had to go to the front desk so get some so we'd have them for our showers in the morning. Also husband grabbed a Kleenex and it turned out to be the only one in the box. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were lacking. They were flat as a pancake, where 1 pillow wasn't enough loft and 2 pillows were too much. Ended up with a very sore neck!"
