What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about Space Jaru's comforting and flavorful Korean-inspired dishes, particularly the generous bowls and perfectly fried yangnyeom chicken. While it's a small space, the lively atmosphere and unique fusion cuisine make it a highly recommended spot in Dublin's Liberties. Some note it's an Irish interpretation rather than strictly authentic Korean.
"The moment I walked in, my Asian soul was already calling. The smell was instantly comforting and absolutely authentic. It is a small space, but it was full when we visited, which already felt like a good sign.
Four of us each ordered a bowl: chicken dakgalbi, pork, and beef bulgogi. Every bowl was generous and very filling.
I went for the beef bulgogi with purple rice. The fact that they offer both kimchi rice and purple rice says a lot about the restaurant. They are clearly not trying to serve cheap white rice, but instead staying true to what they believe is both delicious and healthy. The bowl was beautifully balanced with vegetables and meat, and every element was cooked well and full of flavour. I could taste both the tanginess and subtle sweetness of the beef, which I suspect was marinated with pear, so good!
The chilli is a must. It gives a real kick, and it actually delivers. I was almost tearing up while eating it, because the flavours genuinely reminded me of home. That is how good it was.
I would definitely come back if I ever drop by Dublin again."

"We stumbled in on a Friday night and we were seated right away. We were craving Korean food and were skeptical of how authentic it would taste. The jeyuk pork and dakgalbi was very tasty. The dumplings were fried well and juicy inside. The real star of the show was the yangnyum chicken- fried to perfection!"

"Great food, we tried beef Bulgaria bowl and classic burger - amazing! Also we had this asahi beer which is good as well! Peaceful and great atmosphere!"
