Visitors praise Ross Island for its beautiful natural scenery, historical copper mines, and tranquil walking trails, offering a peaceful escape. The stunning views from Library Point are a consistent highlight, though some paths can be muddy and inaccessible after heavy rain.

"Waiting for the guided tour in Ross Castle we walked around the woods trying to escape mass tourism (quite impossible). This part of the shore is not so crowded, some miniature deers are not even scared about our presence, narrow trekking paths brought us to a nice beach...
Few minutes to rest and up we go to the Castle"

Gabriele Cazzoli

"Wonderful place with enchanting views around the Lakes of Killarney National Park.

Path to Library point was flooded but we still persevered to see the deer and wide view of the lake."
