Reviews Summary

Visitors generally praise the Guinness Storehouse for its immersive brand experience, stunning Gravity Bar views, and the fun of learning to pour a pint. While some note it's more of a museum than an active brewery, the historical exhibits and iconic advertising are consistently highlighted as engaging. The Connoisseur Experience is often recommended for a deeper dive.

"This is a really great experience right in the heart of Dublin. The tour is self-guided mostly and a nice Guinness awaits you at the end. The whole experience is put together very well and allows you to dive into the history and practice of making Guinness. If you're interested in doing the taste-testing, that is an additional charge on top of the general admission, but the general admission really allows you to see a lot too. I would advise you purchase tickets online as it is generally cheaper. If you're visiting Dublin, I highly recommend stopping by!"

"We visited the Guinness Storehouse and had a great time exploring one of Dublin’s most iconic attractions. The self-guided tour is well designed, moving floor by floor through the history of Guinness, its brewing process, and its advertising legacy. It’s touristy for sure, but done in a way that feels fun and immersive rather than gimmicky.

A highlight was the Learn to Pour class, where I got to pour my own pint the proper way—a memorable touch. The tour finishes at the Gravity Bar with panoramic views over Dublin, where we enjoyed a Guinness and a Hop House 13 using the included drink vouchers. The atmosphere up there was lively, with floor-to-ceiling windows making it the perfect place to take in the city.

Overall, the Guinness Storehouse is a must-see in Dublin, even if you’re not usually a stout drinker. It’s part museum, part experience, and part celebration of Ireland’s most famous beer, and it makes for a fun couple of hours in the city.

One tip, if you are from the States and buying shirts (anywhere in Ireland) double check the sizes. The EU and US sizing is a bit different. They have both sizes on the shirts in the store at Guinness but I didn't pay attention and bought some shirts I can't wear."

"We did the basic self-guided tour - it was fun and really well done. The visuals and interactive displays were a highlight.

The building itself is steeped in history, spread across seven floors of exhibits covering brewing, equipment, advertising, and Guinness’s role in Irish culture.

The café was an unexpected treat - we had a sausage roll, Guinness cake, and coffee, all absolutely delicious.

The Gravity Bar was the perfect finale, with panoramic views of Dublin and the freshest pint of Guinness you’ll ever taste. A must-do!"
