"Lovely little free museum with displays of archaeology, history and little nooks and crannies, well worth an explore. Parking is on the street and mostly paid, but we didn't mind a bit of a walk. Close to an old Franciscan tower, and Dundalk is pretty."

"Good County Museum in Dundalk, lot of detail on the Agricultural, Industrial developments , Railway, Medieval History ,Bogs, Monasteries & Abbeys"
Jango Mallu
"Great museum and good experience.
The staff sounded really passionate about what they do. The entry is free. This is a 3floor museum. They have a lot of artefacts from the past that you can take, feel and touch(in the ground floor). They are not behind glass cabinets. On the first and the second floor, you can find a lot of information from the past that is relevant to Irish history, especially the history of county Louth. They also have restrooms available and have creative sections for kids to enjoy.
This is such a well organised museum that is suitable for anyone visiting this place. Bear in mind one thing that they are closed for lunch between 1-2, when you plan your visit."
