Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Mount Jerome Cemetery for its historical significance, beautiful Victorian architecture, and unique monuments like the 'Ouija Tombstone'. It's considered a peaceful and atmospheric place for reflection and photography. Some find navigating the grounds challenging without a map, and information on older graves can be difficult to access without prior arrangement.

"Interesting place. I visited the graves of artist Jack Yeats and writer Sheridan Le Fanu, which made for a quite pleasant morning. There are numerous other graves of interest."

Ann Murray

"Went to a cremation in the Garden Chapel. Parking was very easy. Very helpful staff on hand. No toilet roll in the gents though, which isn't great as for families a day at this kind of venue is difficult enough as is"

Gerard Clinton

"You would want to be ashamed of yourselves. This is the state of one of our relatives graves the day before their anniversary. You told us that this was because of the weather but if you look at graves around the perimeter there is not a mark on them and to make it even worse you told them it wasn't your responsibility and we would pay for the damages. Trying to tell me that a bit of wind can destroy marble and pull stuff out of bolts. You should have locked gates and/or security we won't be paying for nothing. We will be going to the papers about this. It's posted all over facebook too!"
